This year for The MLK Day of Service this year St. Paul will be putting together Blessing Bags for the guests at Central Outreach and Advocacy Center (https://centraloac.org/). The main thing Central OAC does is help people experiencing homelessness get their ID by helping them obtain the necessary documents and then provide a voucher for the ID.
We will gather at church (masked, distanced, and outside) at 1pm on Monday, January 18th to put the bags together, but first we need supplies. Please consider signing up to donate some items on this list:

You can drop your donations at church the week before, bring them on the 18th, or can ship to/drop items with Katie Varner (email her at katie.a.varner@gmail.com to coordinate.) – whichever is easiest for you!
Our goal is to put together 48 bags for Central OAC, so we are asking for 4 dozen of each item. Most of the food items are easy to come by at the grocery store, but we’ve put together a Wish List on Amazon (available via the Sign Up above) of some of the hygiene items requested for easy shopping (these are merely suggestions to give you an idea, not specifics requested).
