Upcoming Opportunities

March

This year for their Lent Project the St Paul Kids are working on mini-projects oriented towards helping the environment. Their plans include: planting a new garden outside St. Paul, composting at Cookies and Conversation, and making environmental awareness posters. Follow along and learn what you can do to help out the environment too!

April

St Paul’s annual community Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place again on Palm Sunday, April 13th in Grant Park (weather permitting).  We are currently collecting small toys and candy for egg-fillers and will need volunteers to come out and join the fun on Sunday morning!
This year our Maundy Thursday project (April 17th) will be serving a meal to the residents at Nicholas House. Nicholas House is non-profit organization that provides families a safe place to stabilize and sleep at night. Residents receive food and other necessities while the organization works with them to increase their income and secure permanent housing. We will need donations of food as well as servers that evening.

June

Summer is here! And so are St.Paul Kids Serve Camps!  Serve Camps have a mission to help kids become empowered stewards of their community through service. Our camp will include service projects each week that partner with a community organization, while also offering traditional day camp activities. We are going to have a blast this summer, hope to see you there!

July

The end of July means the start of school is just around the corner. Help us to collect all the new supplies the students served by the Andrew P. Stewart Center might need to start the year off right!

August

Come see us amongst our neighbors August 23 & 24  at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival. The festival is a free outdoor event that celebrates Atlanta’s oldest public park. The festival is presented by and benefits the Grant Park Conservancy (GPC), the non-profit organization committed to the restoration, maintenance, and beautification of historic Grant Park.

October

October is PRIDE month in Atlanta! In honor of Pride Month we will again be marching together as a congregation in the Atlanta Pride Parade on Sunday, October 12th.

November

Every year St. Paul UMC adopts a family through Wellroot Family Services and collects funds for the families served by The Stewart Center. As a generous congregation we collect gifts and funds to help families have a warm and merry Christmas. Be on the lookout for gift lists as we continue the tradition!

December

It’s the 43rd anniversary of the Candlelight Tour of Homes! Join us December 13 & 14, 2025, as we celebrate Christmas, visit some historic homes, and serve our community!
